Open Water Training Indoor - in 100' of visibility at Bonne Terre Mine
Upon successful completion of Pre-Certification, your open water training will consist of 4 dives conducted in the indoor, year-round comfort at West End Diving’s Bonne Terre Mine. The facility is located just one hour south of St. Louis. Your training takes place over the course of 2 weekends. The first weekend you will complete your academics and pool training classes on Friday evening and Saturday in Bridgeton/Creve Coeur, MO. Then the second weekend is comprised of open water dives on Friday evening and Sunday at BONNE TERRE MINE.
Bonne Terre Mine is owned and operated by Deep Earth LLC.

Scuba Course:

West End Diving has certified over 60,000 divers since 1960.
The following are the steps to become a certified scuba diver.
The course consists of 3 parts.
1. Part one consists of the online academic course which takes approximately 3 to 4 hours to complete.

2. Part two classroom poolside review, and pool training.
These consist of a Friday evening 6 PM to 11 PM and Saturday from 7 AM till 11am
3. Part three is open water training at the INDOOR YEAR ROUND facility, Bonne Terre Mine 1hr south of St Louis.
Open water training is held at the indoor facility at Bonne Terre Mine in crystal-clear unpolluted water.
This consists of a Friday evening 7 PM till 11 PM and a Sunday 8 AM till 1PM
Bottom Line:
The course fee is $750, includes: on line course,cOpen Water Scuba, Eriched Air (NITROX)/Computer Courses, Certifications pool training, Openwater training or referral, use of SCUBA gear including wetsuit, open water training (at BONNE TERRE MINE)
You are required to own your own mask fins snorkel and booties.
We give you a rebate of $50 off on the mask fins snorkel and booties when purchased from West End Diving.
Bottom line, you will have an investment of approximately $795 to $1100 for all of the above.
